July 3rd, 2010Jesse Crain spent Wednesday June 30th, eating, drinking, and chatting it up with Twins fans. Take a look at the photos HERE.
Jesse continued his success with meeting and greeting the fans at Majors, he brought it to the ballpark against the Rays in the first two games of the seris. 2 strikeouts against 3 batters in two-thirds of an inning.

June 23rd, 2010Jesse Crain took his first major league at bat in Philadelphia against Joe Blanton. Nick Blackburn was pulled after 1.2 innings work and Jesse came aboard to to pitch the next 2.1 innings. Jesse did what he does best while going for the plate. He struckout. Not to say the pitching world treated him poorly though. Jesse struckout two while facing seven batters.
Thanks to Deb for flying to Philly and supporting Jesse Crain and the Minnesota Twins. Looks like he has on a number 28 batting helmet, but whos bat is he using?
Seattles Best?
June 4th, 2010Jeese Crain worked three innings in three of the four games in the road stand against the Mariners. Ken Griffey Jr. may have said adios on Wednesday but that did not stop Jesse from throwing 9 strikes to Ichiro in an 11 pitch at bat that resulted in a big adios for Ichiro. Jesse has struck a batter in each of his last seven scoreless innings. Jesse also recorded his 5th hold in the opening game in the seris.

June 4th, 2010Jesse Crain took time out during batting practice to answer questions for the Delta Sky Miles Trivia during the 6th inning of home ball games. Sunday May 30th, Jesse’s turn came up and one lucky fan got a chance to guess the answers Jesse gave. There were four questions, first if Jesse was a playing card which would he be. The contestant guessed wrong (Jesse chose ”a niner”) and was denyed a chance at a road jersey of Jesse Crain. The second question had a prize of entrance into the elusive Legend’s Club at Target Field. Who did Jesse Crain think was the Worst Dressed on the Team? Mauer? Delmon? Well, the lucky contestant guessed right and Michael Cuddyer earned his worst dressed award and the winner got to see the Legend’s Club. Questioning stopped and play continued for Twins win.

May 27th, 2010Jeese Crain pitched the ninth inning of a the Twins and Yankees resumed rain delay. Trailing one to nothing, Jesse came in to face the meat of the Yankee lineup. Brett Gardner and Mark Teixeria both put balls in play for outs and Alex Rodriguez struck swinging to end the inning. Sadly, the home team couldnt move forward for the win and held the Yankees to an impressive one run.

May 22nd, 2010After walking Prince Fielder, Jesse Crain preceded to shut down the Milwaukee Brewers. Two fly ball outs led to the looking strikeout of Jody Gerut which ended a 12 inning ball game. Delmon Young tied the game in the bottom of ninth after the Twins lost the lead in the top of the ninth. 10 of 18 pitches went in for strikes as Jesse Crain is moves to 1-0 on the year.

May 17th, 2010Jesse Crain and the Minnesota Twins came out of Yankee Stadium this past weekend with a seris loss but took a much needed victory on Sunday with a Jason Kubel Grand Slam. Jesse pitched in Saturday’s contest not fairing so well against the Yankee battery. Fridays intentional walk to Mark Teixeria gave way for his two-run on Saturday.
Jesse went 6 and 2/3 innings between 6 outings without giving up a run. He has struck out 6 while walking 4 on 4 hits.

May 5th, 2010Jesse Crain brought his broom to the mound today as Kevin Slowey picks up the win and the Twins sweep the 3 game seris from the Tigers. Jesse relieved Kevin in the bottom of the 5th with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd. Jesse took four pitchers to strikeout the swinging Scott Sizemore. April 30th, 2010Jesse Crain recorded his second hold of the season as he faces three Indians batter. After a leadoff single, Jesse strikes out the next batter, Valbuena looking. The last batter to go up against Jesse was his old cathing partner Mike Redmond who promptly hit into a double play. Jesse threw 7 of his thirteen pitches for strikes and lowered his ERA to 6.55. The Twins won 9-3.
Jesse and the Twins finish off the month of April with a 15-8 record while winning 6 of 7 seris to start the season. The 6 consecutive seris victories to start a season is the most in team history and the Twins were the last team in the majors to obtain a 2-game losing streak which was broken up today.
